Apply for your child to attend Hazel Community Primary School

If you wish to apply for your child to attend Hazel, you will need to apply via the Leicester City Council Admissions website. You can not apply directly to the school. 

• If your child will be starting Reception in August 2024, please see the below section.
• If you wish for your child to join another year group, or join during this academic year, you will need to apply for an in-year transfer on the Leicester City Council Admissions website, found here - https://www.leicester.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/school-and-colleges/school-admissions/in-year-admissions/
• Hazel Community Primary School fully complies with Leicester City Council's Fair Access Protocol.

New Admissions (Children starting Reception in August 2024)

All children born between 1^st September 2019 and 31^st August 2020 are able to take up a full time place to start at a primary school from August 2024.

Hazel Community Primary School admits pupils in accordance with Leicester City Council Children and Young People’s Services Admissions Policy. This policy for the 2024-25 academic year can be reached by clicking here. This page includes information about admission arrangements for pupils with disabilities.

Only Leicester City Council Admissions Service can confirm places to pupils.

Places will be allocated up to the Planned Admission Limit, which is 60 places for all years from Reception to Year 6.

You must apply by using the link below, you can not apply directly to the school.

Please note that you must apply by no later than the closing date of 15^th January 2024. Late applications should be made via the link above.
