Homework

Children at Hazel are given login's for various online resources so they are able to complete homework, do some reading, or some maths games, these details should have been stuck into your child's homework book.  If you don't have these details, speak to the class teacher who will be able to provide you with another copy.

For work during the School Closure period please click on your child's year group for work.

Keeping Active

EMPWR will be posting FREE daily futsal videos on social media platforms (mainly KS2 but some are for KS1) for any schools and futsal players to access.

Videos will include:

  • Challenges
  • Tutorials
  • Skills and Ball Mastery
  • ‘Special’ Guests

The aim of this is to incorporate 30 minutes of physical exercise/activity using futsal. I am encouraging schools to retweet/share this to their pupils so they can get that vital exercise at home.

Check our their social Media platforms:

Leicestershire County Cricket Club are trying to keep as many people, young and old, active and engaged during this difficult period, and so we have created a dedicated area on our website for people to have a go at various activities.

The first of these activities is to design a new t-shirt for our mascot, Charlie Fox. We are encouraging youngsters (aged 16 or below) to design a new shirt and the winning design will be sent to Surridge (our kit suppliers) who will then produce the T-shirt for the mascot to wear. In addition to this we will also be selling replica versions of the shirt in our club shop with all profits being donated to the NHS. Please visit https://www.leicestershireccc.co.uk/news/2020/march/design-charlie-foxs-t-shirt.html for full details.

There are also several activities for youngsters to complete on our website including home based workouts to keep fit and active and wordsearches and a jigsaw puzzle to complete.  New activities are going to be added at regular intervals. These can be found using the following link https://www.leicestershireccc.co.uk/news/2020/march/junior-foxes-den.html
