Family Learning Reading Sessions – Starting Friday November 3rd
Some feedback from the parents who attended our sessions are below –
“I really enjoyed the family learning because I got to meet other parents and discuss similar points about reading to our children. We had a very friendly environment in which we learned new things and chatted about daily life problems. The family learning course helped me understand more about reading in a fun and interesting way to help my son. It helped me make up stories and questions about the stories my son liked. It got me to make up games about the stories as well”. Zeynep.
“An interesting time with different people from different countries. I learned how to make reading a story with my child a lot of fun. I got new knowledge and improved my language skills. We try to read a story every day now”.
“I enjoyed the course so much. I met many people and made friends. At the end of the course I came to know how I can make reading interesting to my child using dummy things and real things to tell a story using description and using new words for him he loves it“
“This course reminded me of lots of English sentences and words. I met new very nice parents and their children. We had nice conversations about our children and their progress. We started creating more new stories and my son started reading even more books”. Agate
“The family reading sessions was something more than just reading. I really enjoyed learning from other families, parents, cultures and got lots of different activities, games and strategies to try that other families use with their children. This session is the first time I was able to write a story with my child.” Yakup
“I enjoyed sharing new knowledge about things I didn’t know. I got to know how to make things safer for my child. I am reading with my child now which I was not doing before”. Kavitha
